Large Mediums Pt2 – The Super Sized Edition

posted in: Vinyl Graphics, Work Hard | 1

Recently I was presented with the opportunity to create a very large wall graphic for a wonderful non-profit organization, The A21 Campaign, who’s mission is to end human trafficking, convict perpetrators, and provide victims with resources and support.

The concept was was conceived by Architect Jana Itzen and Interior Designer Carrie Zahradnik.  This was an exciting project due to the extremely large scale.  The graphic is of a world map composed of small 1″ white dots with red dots to indicate their various locations around the world.  The final size of the map was approx. 9’h x 23’w.  I was well aware of the task at hand but could not help but be awed by the final out come.  I am a huge fan of hand painting wall art but there is just no way that this could have been created as precisely doing it the old fashion way and it goes to show that art can be created with any medium.

Here are a few pics of the various stages of the installation.  More pictures will be available at the studio’s facebook page.  For more information about The A21 Campaign and how to get involved, please visit www.thea21campaign.org.
